So ... yeah ...
     It's been about 7½ months since my last update and well, that's that. I know that the normal thing here would be to say that I'm gonna try to get back in a schedule and promise more updates but I've slipped in the schedule enough times to know that slipping is ridiculously easy, and coming back after a long absence can be hard. So instead of dreaming up some grand sweeping goal, I think right now i'm gonna concentrate on writing this, playing some Metroid Prime 3, and then trying to come up with another strip to put up after this one.
     One thing I've learned from slacking off so much is that if you think about just how many comics you have to write over time if you keep up the schedule, you start to see the task as insurmountable and the very concept scares you away.
     The other thing I'm going to try is to spend less time per day on these. The above strip was done over 2 days ... pencils & inks the first day, coloring the second. It's not necessary, but it breaks it up so that I don't have to have a 3 hour block to set aside for drawing. Not that my art style is especially detailed or anything, I just draw slowly.
     So that's about it. I'm gonna go hit up Metroid and then see if I can brainstorm some.
