So you know, Otakon 2003 photos are still available here.
I swear, this really happened. I think. Maybe. See, I can only go on second hand reports because I was passed out at that point. I don't know why, but I was extremely tired after the first day at Otakon, so around 11:00 pm I laid down on one of the beds to make fun of the TV with everyone and completely passed out. I swear, I was sleeping on the very edge of the bed, too, but nobody apparently wanted to share the bed, so I woke up in the morning with nobody next to me. In fact, there were bags on the bed next to me because people had moved them to clear out space on the floor. Because the bags need all that cushoning. :P
At any rate, this was supposedly a quote from This is Spinal Tap, but as I've only seen it once, I can't really confirm or deny that. Sounds about right. SHIT SANDWICH pretty much does work as a review for any Spinal Tap album. There was much craziness in the hotel, and you'll see that later.
Well, my life is pretty boring, and I've ranted 3 other times this week, so I don't have much to write. Back again tomorrow with another Otakon comic. Unfortunately, I'll run out of templates by the end of the weekend, so I'll (gasp) have to measure one out manually... so maybe I'll throw in one with an odd layout now that I have the chance. We'll see.
Looking at the server statistics, by the way, it looks like I'm attracting new readers. Even though readership dropped severly on Thursday and there's no report for Friday available yet, but seeing as how US-Network has surpassed Unresolved Domain on the Top Level Domains list, by 2,000 hits, that means that a lot of people from .net addresses are viewing the site whereas most people viewing were from ISP's that did not divulge their top-level domain. I'm not sure that makes much sense, but it means (the way I'm reading it at least) is that even though the total viewership dropped, a lot of people are checking in who don't normally. Which is cool. Also, looking at the top-level domains listing, I wanna say greets to the readers in Canada, who have viewed roughly 20 strips, the readers in the Netherlands, who have viewed roughly 6 strips, and Singapore, who have viewed roughly 3 strips. Knowing that someone outside of this country (or outside of my own school, for that matter) reads this strip is really really cool.
