Ah, "Moving In." This strip is really one of those things I (and my friends) make fun of all the time. wait... no... it's too things we make fun of a lot. Tryon's unnecesarily loud stereo, and his amazingly odd obsession with Boston.
     Now, it's not as though Boston is a bad band... not at all. I enjoy their music thoroughly. It's just that Tryon listens to it constantly. Not only that, but he's the only person on this planet who can (A) play Boston at extremely loud volumes in order to block out the sound of some guy down the hall flexing his Dolby Digital 5.1 stereo system (you know who yoy are. Raj, and you should realize by now that you can't compete). (B) mix Boston, Garbage, the Gattaca Score, Enigma, and Weird Al on the same playlist.
     And the thing about Tryon's system being unnecesarily powerful... suffice it to say that Meg (characterized here by Anja) will never let him forget the imfamous "phone incident." I don't remember it very well, but the gist is that while watching T2 with a female friend, Tryon mistakenly put his old crappy phone on the very very powerful subwoofer. Some explosion hit just the right frequency and shook the phone off the subwoofer. Then, when telling this story to Meg, Tryon made the mistake of phrasing it along the lines of "We were watching T2 and knocked the phone off the hook."
     Now, combine that with Meg's sick mind, and the rest, as Milko would say, is comedy gold.
