This is a bit of a quickie to make up for missing last week. LOTR jokes may be a bit passe, but TNT did their now-annual "hey lets blow away 12 hours showing the LOTR trillogy" on Sunday, and it was in HD, so I watched fellowship with Beth, and then checked out the last 2 hours of Return later that night after I dropped her off at her house (while catching up on my Animal Crossing). Legolas is like your classic American action hero,... except that instead of one-liners, he has sort-of physical one-liners ... like surfing down the Oliphant's trunk as it dies a slow painful death. It's a whole lot of unnecessary flourish.
     So an odd experience this weekend. I actually had Beth telling me to play Raving Rabbids.... partly because she loves the rabbids, but also because it was a birthday gift and she wanted to see me enjoy it. I feel a little weird playing games in front of her because I feel like I'm ignoring her... but hey... if she insists. :P
     I'll try to get another update up this week. But as a parting bit of wisdom... hot chocolate is always better with a little dash of vanila extract. :)
