Sorry about the download time. Still experimenting a little with the format. As much as I'm tempted to go back to my normal style (since that makes everything so much faster), I am trying to force myself to do something different instead. I know it's been a month since the last update, and I'd say why, except that I have no idea why. I really don't know where the last month's worth of updates went.
     Anyhow, as you can tell from the strip, I'm really pissed that so many people gave Halo 2 a perfect score. Now, it's no secret that I'm not the biggest fan of first-person shooters, but watching Commie play this made me realize that I wasn't crazy. See, I'm not mad that Halo 2 is getting good scores. It's more or less decently put together, and I can honestly say that I've played worse. My issue is that it basically got perfect scores across the board. Every major magazine gave it a perfect score. Just about every magazine gave it FPS of the year. Many gave it game of the year.
     Seriously, can you look at every game released in all of 2004 and declare that Halo 2 is the absolute best one out of all of them? Gamespot just did their whole wrapup for the year 2004 (there are 3 parts, they're interesting to read), and only 2 guys gave 2 shits about Halo 2. One was a former Bungie team member, and the other called it "disappointing." To be fair... they are one of the only places I've seen that gave it a less than perfect score (9.4), but not nearly as low as I would have given it.
     At any rate, that's enough angry ranting for now. I threw this image together a few days ago to try out some inking and coloring stuff. I really don't like how the color scheme came out, but the line art is fairly reasonable. As always, the image will be posted on the projects page from here on out. Feel free to use it, just give me credit for it if you post it elsewhere.
