Rant show/hide

I know I'm gonna get a few of you making sick jokes about that first panel's wording, but trust me, nothing even remotely like that happened on the boat. We did, however, get next to no sleep on the boat, which was especially hard on Beth because she was at work the day before at 6:00 AM. We tried to sleep on the boat, but the waves were too rough, so everybody shipped out to the office. The office floor was made out of some combination of carpet and granite. It was hard as hell, and you got burns whenever you moved on it. We went to bed at 3 and then were woken up at 7,... though I'm pretty sure I got about an hour's sleep out of it.
At 7:00 AM we trekked back to the boat and tried to figure out where to sleep. Both Beth and I were pretty sure we weren't gonna be able to fall asleep again, so we took the upper deck and tried to get what little sleep we could. Well, it quickly got up to like 100 degrees (as there was no shade), and we didn't sleep. Instead a tickle-fight ensued, from which there was no clear victor. :-P
Eventually, it got to be waaaaay too hot and we headed back below decks where we found a love seat with nobody around where we could just chill. She decided to use me as a foot rest, so I decided to use her as a pillow. I don't think we slept long, but it was a more satisfying sleep than the office floor.
Anyhow, got two new projects to show you tonight. The first is a picture of Beth as a Cat Girl, and the second is a first attempt at cloth physics. Billy Bryan was hard at work earlier today converting my program to OpenGL and making it a little more extensible, so I'm gonna have to play catch up.
Well, I've gotta get some sleep. Beth, I love you, and thanks for taking me to the boat. I had a good time, despite the minor problems.
