I swear, this is the last Pie2k about LOTR... I will not let this turn into another "Otakon" series. Got a lot of good jokes out of it though.
     I also got a nice response from the last comic. Though I won't copy what Kelly wrote for fear of being killed in a dramatic way, both she and Kat got in touch with me and professed their utter obsession with Legolas and the guy who plays him. Also, Larry e-mailed me and warned me against seeing The Majestic since he and Shelley went to see it and neither liked it. Jeremy liked it, though.... so I'm thinking it's one of those "rent it on video" movies. Relatively good when put up against stuff like The Fast and the Furious and Spy Kids.
     So, this is going to be my last strip for the "0" story arc. For those of you who weren't here from the beginning, Pie2k started out as an ambitious project, but has dwindled much. I was going to do this complex and hopefully good plot, but I found it more fun just to poke fun at everybody I know. So I decided that the story arc (the first 2-digit number in the file name) would stay around for organizational purposes. Since I got through all the events of the Fall semester I wanted to cover, I'm gonna move onto the next arc.
     Why does this matter at all? I'm going to be compiling the first arc into a large PDF doccument with high quality pictures and everything. It'll be nice-looking and printable and stuff. You'll like it. Trust me. I'm also gonna add some drawings and sketches and stuff, so it won't just all be stuff you've seen before.
     And I guess I'll close off this arc with good news. Even though I spent finals with friends (watching them stress over finals... Kelly in particular) and watching The Fellowship of the Rings, I managed to not only pass all of my finals, but to actually get good grades. I got 3 A's, 2 A-'s, and 1 B+. I'm very proud of this last semester... I was busier than ever and I did better than ever. Think they're related? Hope not... I'd like to do well while I don't have a seizure-inducing workload.
