Yeah, um... can you tell that Bill and Larry came over last night and we watched "Transformers the Movie?" It'd been a very long time since I had seen it, so I didn't quite know what to expect. Believe it or not, though, Transformers actually is still a pretty damn good movie (as good as any mid-80's cartoon movie goes at least). Sure, the hair metal seems out of place now, but it's endurable, and the story is actually pretty damn decent... shockingly enough. The weirdest part about the movie, though, is the voice talent, which includes Judd Nelson, Orson Welles, and Leonard Nimoy... all of which are much higher calibur than your typical cartoon voice talent. Even compared to more recent flicks. Take Titan A.E.... Orson Welles vs. Bill Pullman..... Leonard Nimoy vs. Matt Damon? I think it's pretty obvious here.
