Rant show/hide

I'd like to thank Katie for this guest comic, although she and Tryon are yet to move in together. It comes out of a conversation she had with Bill, though I have much more confidence in them than he does. My only concerns about them are the move-in date (last I heard Tryon was looking for help on a Thursday, which will be a little tough to find help on) and about picking a good housewarming gift. :P
I also have a site announcement to make. I know some of you are naturally curious as to how this all works, or you want to create comics of your own. In that vein, I've added a page named "Source Code" where you can get an explanation of how the site works, as well as the source code required to do the same on your server. I know that the structure is limited, but if you want to get up on your feet quickly, my scripts can help you build a webcomic site in an afternoon if you're so inclined.
Now that I'm settling in to my new job, a few people have asked me "so, you gonna let Bergen have it?" To be perfectly honest, I could spend quite a while lambasting them if I felt any desire to. But I really don't. They, like any institution, have problems. But now that I've left them, they're not my concerns. I wish them the best in resolving their issues, but beyond that I really don't care anymore.
It's like when you graduate high school and go to college far away. There were all sorts of problems and politics at your old high school, but you really can't be a part of that anymore.
Elsewhere in the world, Yahoo! bought Konfabulator and (surprisingly) the result is that Konfabulator is now freeware! Fucking awesome. If you don't know what Konfabulator is, it's a lot like Dashboard for OS X except that it came out first, and is available for both Windows and OS X. It also has a nice "always on bottom" feature, which is the exact opposite of "always on top." Basically, this makes elements from Konfabulator appear as though they're part of your wallpaper (which works great for the calendar). I'm putzing around with it now, and it's pretty freaking cool.
I have 3 more guest strips to put up. Apparently everybody saw that it had been a while since I updated and took pity on me. I'll get one up on Wednesday, and try to have something cool for the rant as well. I'm also working on some programs that I might put up project pages for. But until then, you stay classy.
