Yeah... it's another Garbage strip, and I brought back the gimmick.... surely this is a sign that I've run out of ideas... or something.
Anyhow, the semester's about to start up again, and that means that I'm gonna be doing a lot of work, maybe a little less Pie2k posting (though I'll try to improve over last semester's dismal performance and not drop below once a week), and probably some more gaming. Lord only knows what this semester of video games will bring. I just know that I don't have the time for them really. I mean, I still haven't gotten through Star Fox Adventures yet, and I've had it for like 4 months now. It's not that it's a bad game, or that I'm a sucky player, but I don't have much time for video games anymore.
I realize how stupid that sounds.... I have time for socializing with people, and I ususally hang out while they play video games, but I don't really have much time for that either. I need to stop it with all the "hang out and veg" evenings I'm taking. Maybe I can still be social, but I need to at least take my clipboard down there and draw a Pie2k write some code. Like Meg said to me over winter when she was bored (and I'm paraphrasing)... "It's not that I'm not doing anything, it's that I'm not doing anything productive." I'll second that.
Um... what else is there? I'm feeling pretty healthy right now, not too sick anymore. My love-life is the same as it ever was... close friends with a lot of girls, not seeing any of them. Class work hasn't really hit for this semester yet, but I have a feeling that I'm gonna be in a lot of study sessions with Kurt and Commie for Calculus 2. Senior Project is on Monday night. Vic will explain to us what we have to do and then the next class I'll try to present doing a video game as a senior project (and trust me, it touches on a whole lot of issues in programming... I bet the other projects won't have to deal with keeping a constant runtime, but I will. Most of the other major issues are in file systems and scripting, as well as an opponent AI, but I'm not too worried. Every answer to every CS problem is on the web, if you just know how to search for it.
