Rant show/hide

Bill and I finally noticed that not only is my TV small (a meager 13"), but that he has 4 monitors that are larger. So, it would make a logical choice to set up an entertainment center based on a computer with TV Capture that utilizes the largest monitors. Well, it's mostly functional... waiting on a few parts, but it's more or less there. It works great for DVD's, that's for sure. It's all topped off with Bill's ever-expanding speaker and amplifier collection, so it's loud as all hell. When we were moving in, he set it up and turned the volume up to 25% so that we would have music anywhere we went in the apartment.
Now, the obligatory webcomic apology section. I swear, I am working on the Kurt and Tryon t-shirt designs, but I'm just behind right now. Bill Muller and Tryon came over tonight to requisition my scanner, and then we went to the diner, so that's my excuse for tonight and I'm sticking to it. It has nothing to do with my configuring u64emu to use my controllers, I swear... really. And speaking of schedules, I finally gave my boss a copy of my class schedule, so he will determine my work schedule soon, and from there I'll be able to determine my Pie2k updating schedule. We'll see what happens, okay? I know at least that I won't know by the end of this week... my boss will be out for the next two days (I think... he mentioned this stuff offhand in a conversation where he was talking and I was desperately trying to fix HTML errors). I know that if you read the rants regularly it seems like my boss likes to take a lot of days off, but such is not the case... he's no slacker... he's had a lot of family business recently that he had to take care of and I don't envy him in it.
Well, I'm gonna go now and do some drawing... wait for people to come home from Student Center traing... then grab some z's.
