Minutes after I put up the last strip with Commie's abs, he IM'd me and said that my life must be extremely boring if I would write not one, but two comics about his abs. Well, here's a third! I know this all started as a side comment made at a Sci-Fi meeting, but it makes for some funny comic strips, IMHO.
Anyway, we're coming around to finals time, which means I have to study up and finish all of my pending Computer Science projects... including 4 labs for Data Structures, the assembler in Software Design, and what is practically a video game in Computer Graphics (which I foolishly haven't started yet). So I'm gonna be stressed out for a while trying to program my brains out.
And, despite all of this, the only thing I'm really thinking about right now is Spider-Man, which comes out tomorrow. That movie looks absolutely awesome. While it's definitley gonna give me some fodder when Larry declares "The Punnisher" to be the best Marvel Comics-based movie so far, I think I remembered one movie which definitely beats it out. A lot of people consider "X-Men" to be the best Marvel Comics movie.... some say "Blade," still others would declare "The Incredible Hulk." Still, a lot of people forget that "Men in Black" was actulally a Marvel Comic long before it was ever a movie. By in large, given the dark, deadpan humor, the overall production values, and the box-office draw, MiB would have to take the throne as the best Marvel Comics-based movie to date.
But Spider-Man is gonna kick its ass.
